About
A map that answers one concrete question: is it worth the drive this weekend, and in which direction?
Foraging is learned on foot, and no program replaces that. What a computer can do is look at ninety days of rainfall, satellite-measured soil moisture, which tree stands on each point and how high it sits — all at once, for the forty million cells Spain fits into. That is the whole of it.
The result does not say where mushrooms are. It says where conditions resemble the ones that usually accompany a good day out, and where they do not. The difference matters: a pale map in October means the hills are dry, not that the software is broken.
The project is under development and is being tested with a small group. If something contradicts what you see in the field, that is exactly what we need to hear.
