Mushroom Events in Spain: 14 October – 21 November 2026

From mid-October to the end of November 2026, mycological days, fairs, exhibitions and courses are taking place across Spain. Most of the events are in Castilla y León and Aragón. Cataluña has fairs and an exhibition, while in País Vasco a society from Getxo is preparing an outing and an exhibition. You can see where it all takes place on the map.

14–28 October 2026 — De Setas por Soria: Toda una experiencia Micológica

The autumn mushroom tour in Soria itself takes place in the new Trinquete space at Plaza Ramón Ayllón, 9, and at one other venue. The programme includes mycological exhibitions, workshops for children, a showcase of pastries made with mushrooms and a talk. It is run by Asociación Montes de Soria as part of the De Setas por Soria series. ⁴

17 October — 21 November 2026 — Jornadas Micológicas de Salamanca

The programme covers six Saturdays, each in a different place. 17 October — Montemayor del Río, 24 October — El Cabaco, 31 October — Villasrubias, 7 November — Villanueva del Conde, 14 November — Santiz, 21 November — Peñausende. A day usually consists of a guided walk in the woods, a cooking demonstration with a tasting and a talk. Participation is free and includes insurance and guides, while everyone pays for their own travel to the venue. The woodland walk takes 50 people, and picking requires a permit, that is, permission to collect mushrooms. All six days are marked as full on the page, and registration is closed. ³

17–18 October 2026 — 6a Solsoterra, Fira de la Terra del Solsonès

This is the sixth Solsonès land fair, held in Solsona. Societat Catalana de Micologia is taking part, and the programme is posted on its page. ⁹

18 October 2026 — Fira del Bolet de Cantonigròs

The mushroom fair in Cantonigròs lasts one day, on a Sunday. It is organised by the municipality of L'Esquirol and Societat Catalana de Micologia. ⁹

23 October — 15 November 2026 — XXII Jornadas Micológicas de San Martín de la Virgen de Moncayo

The mycological days in San Martín de la Virgen de Moncayo (province of Zaragoza) have been held since 2003. This year they take place on 23, 24, 25 and 31 October, and 1, 2, 14 and 15 November. The programme is aimed at both adults and children. For adults there are woodland outings, sessions identifying finds with mycologists, workshops on taxonomy, cooking and photography, talks, tastings, a market and concerts. For children there are their own outings, workshops and gymkhanas. The festival has the status of Interés Turístico de Aragón and is run by Asociación Micológica de San Martín. ⁷⁸

24 October 2026 — Jornadas micológicas Escorihuela

24 October 2026 — Paseo Micológico guiado, El Pobo (Teruel)

On the same day, in the province of Teruel, there is a guided mushroom walk in El Pobo. Details are on the Micoaragón calendar page. ⁷

24–25 October 2026 — Curso Básico de Micología

This two-day intensive course is intended for anyone interested in mushrooms in general. It takes place in Hoyos del Espino (Ávila) and is led by Sociedad Micológica Amagredos. A single place costs €75. First you need to register, either by the phone number in the programme or by email via the "Inscribirme" button, and only then pay. ⁶

24–29 October 2026 — Basozaleak autumn programme

In the annual plan of the mycology and botany society from Getxo there are three items for the end of October. On 24 October there is an outing to look for species, on 25 October a mycological exhibition, and on 27 and 29 October talks on mycology. The plan does not give the locations. The society warns that, because of the weather or a shortage of species, dates and places may change, and promises to notify its members in good time. ¹⁰

25–26 October 2026 — XXXIV Mostra de Bolets a la Festa de la Natura

The mushroom exhibition at the Nature Festival takes place in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. It is organised by ANMA (Amics de la Natura i del Medi Ambient) and Societat Catalana de Micologia. On Mondays from 18 to 20 hours the society receives visitors at its premises in Barcelona (c. Marina 94, 1r 4ª) and helps to identify finds and photographs. Both society members and everyone else are welcome. ⁹

26–28 October 2026 — Jornadas Micológicas Teruel 2026

31 October — 15 November 2026 — Buscasetas Tierra de Sabor

The gastronomic mushroom days are being held for the 25th time. For sixteen days, restaurants, bars and cafés across Castilla y León serve mushroom menus, individual dishes and tapas, and venues take part free of charge. The website has a collection of recipes from all previous editions. The organiser is Euro-Toques Castilla y León, and the main partner is the Tierra de Sabor brand. ⁵
